Our Dive Boats

Our two custom Newton dive boats are loaded with amenities such as complimentary refreshments, drinks, music, heated showers and a super clean main deck restroom. We offer a top deck and bow seating area for plenty of sun and also lots of shade on the main deck which also allows social distancing.
New in 2022!- We have installed Seakeepers which provide a smooth, motion sick free ride in almost any conditions. Seakeepers virtually eliminate side to side roll on a boat using gyroscopic stabilizers. We have the only dive boats in the United States offering such a luxurious feature.

MEET SHAUN

Q: How, when, and why did you first start diving?

A: I started scuba diving because of the military. I started diving in the army as a combat diver, and then I got my Divemaster certification when I realized that I really enjoyed it- that was in 1997. I stuck with diving because it is extremely therapeutic, and after I finished my time with the military, I found out that I liked teaching scuba as well.

Q: What do you do at Diver’s Paradise? How did you end up here?

A: I am a dive instructor, boat crew, and diesel mechanic at Diver’s Paradise. I’ve worked at multiple dive shops as a dive instructor, all the way from West Palm to the Keys. Diver’s Paradise just felt like the perfect fit- I just absolutely fell in love with the place.

Q: What is your favorite dive site in Miami?

A: I don’t really have one favorite spot- I like the fact that we have access to TONS of wrecks from Key Biscayne, and wreck diving is definitely my favorite type of diving to do. You could dive every day and still not hit every one of the wrecks that we have here.

University of Miami - Rescue a Reef

Our Conservation Partners

Rescue a Reef program was developed in 2015 to raise public awareness and action on coral conservation through educational and experiential activities.

This includes hosting citizen science field expeditions led by UM coral researchers that provide a unique, handson opportunity for recreational SCUBA divers and snorkelers to participate directly in our coral restoration efforts!
