Technical Diving allows you to extend your diving beyond recreational “no stop” limits. This allows you to plan longer dives at shallower depths, or to plan dives to more advanced depths and locations
Diver’s Paradise is located in pristine Key Biscayne, a hidden gem found just minutes outside of downtown Miami and Miami Beach, yet offers an island-like atmosphere of seclusion and relaxation. We offer daily spectacular diving and snorkeling experiences to the reefs and wrecks that are just minutes from our dock. There are more than 60 diveable wrecks including ships, tugs, barges, army tanks, oil platforms and a plethora of rock piles, pipes and the world famous Neptune Memorial Site-all within minutes from our location.
Q: How, when, and why did you first start diving?
A: I started scuba diving because my friends were all divers- twenty years later, they are still just advanced divers, and I became an instructor!
Q: What do you do at Diver’s Paradise? How did you end up here?
A: I am a dive instructor and shop manager at Diver’s Paradise. I also run the spearfishing, lion fishing, and lobstering program. I am the founder of the Underwater Hunting Club, and I’ve taken our club diving at many different locations before- including Diver’s Paradise! I loved the operation, I loved the dive shop, so I started bringing the club more and more often, and then one day, I just stayed!
Q: What is your favorite dive site in Miami?
A: I really like to do drift dives, every other Saturday we run the spearfishing trip at Diver’s Paradise and we go down South by the Fowey Rocks Lighthouse. Last time that we went there, we caught 53 lionfish!

Rescue a Reef program was developed in 2015 to raise public awareness and action on coral conservation through educational and experiential activities.
This includes hosting citizen science field expeditions led by UM coral researchers that provide a unique, hands–on opportunity for recreational SCUBA divers and snorkelers to participate directly in our coral restoration efforts!
